Who we are

Tibu Afrika Consultancy Ltd is based in Nakuru, Kenya. Contact info@tibuafrika.org with questions about your information.

Contact enquiries

We collect your name, email address, subject and message, plus your phone number if you choose to provide it. We use these details to respond to your enquiry. The website saves accepted enquiries in a staff dashboard before sending an email notification. Authorised Administrators and Editors can manage enquiries. The form does not save your IP address in the enquiry record.

Retention and deletion

Dashboard enquiries are retained for 12 calendar months and then scheduled for deletion. Notification emails and private backups are separate copies and have separate retention arrangements; deleting a dashboard entry does not automatically remove an email or backup. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion. We verify requests before acting and review relevant dashboard records, mail and backups separately.

Analytics and your choice

Google Analytics loads only after you allow Analytics, including a previously saved choice. Before consent, the website does not load Google's analytics script. Analytics can process information about pages visited, referral, browser/device and approximate location. Requests to Google necessarily expose connection information such as your IP address to that provider. We do not send contact form fields to Analytics. Google Signals and advertising personalisation features are disabled; no advertising tags are installed. Your Marketing preference is retained for compatibility but does not enable an advertising tag.

Changing your preferences

Choose Accept all, Decline all or Customize in the consent banner. Necessary features remain enabled. Use Cookie preferences in the footer to change your choice at any time. Withdrawal immediately updates the analytics consent state, disables further Analytics event collection on the current page, and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. A Google script already loaded on that page cannot be unloaded; future pages do not load it while Analytics is declined.

Browser storage

Your preferences use the browser-local key tibuafrika.consent.v1, version1, and remain until you clear site data or change them. Existing valid preferences are retained after the WordPress migration on the same website origin. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies to the current page. Google Analytics may set _ga and property-specific _ga_ cookies after permission. Essential site features and staff sign-in may use necessary cookies. External links such as WhatsApp open another provider; this Contact page does not embed a Google Map.

Service providers

The website and email use our hosting/mail providers. If you allow Analytics, Google provides that service and may process information outside your country. Contact us for questions about provider arrangements and retention.

Updates

We update this policy when website processing changes.
